Fall 2022 CS Ph.D. Orientation

 

The current schedule for incoming CS Ph.D. students is as follows:

  • August 22             TGS Orientation
  • September 7         International Office Orientation
  • September 9       CS Orientation (this document)
  • September 15      Registration open for new Ph.D. students
  • September 20      Classes begin
  • September 23      TGS New Student Resource Fair

The CS Ph.D. orientation will be in person.

In addition to new Ph.D. students and CS-affiliated faculty, all CS-affiliated Ph.D. students are welcome to attend.

All new CS Ph.D. students must enroll in CS 401 (496): Introduction to Graduate Studies in Computer Science. They also need to complete Responsible Conduct of Research training in their first year.
